RecipeBook was created by a Mother of three small children and a Professional Civil Engineer who is “an organizational freak”, according to family and friends. It is intended to replace the 3-ring notebooks containing recipe cards, pages torn out of doctor offices’ magazines, and recipes printed from websites in your kitchen so that your recipes are organized and easily accessible.
A couple of RecipeBook tips:
For additional grocery items not in a specific recipe, create a recipe called “Additional Items” and place the additional items in the ingredient list. Create a grocery list from this “recipe” or add it to an existing list.)
Avoid buying duplicates of the items you have in your kitchen. Make kitchen inventories by creating a “recipe” for each list: spices, pantry, dry goods, wine, liquor cabinet, etc. You will always know what you have at home when at the grocery store.
If you are worried about drips or splashes on your iPad, simply seal it in a large zip lock plastic bag. The touch screen will still work and your iPad will be safe.
